Everyone loves a challenge, but not everyone can participate in an event with such tight time restrictions. We have been working with the Broken Puppet Theatre Company to develop this category so that anyone with a passion for puppets can participate, regardless of access barriers.
TIPA has been developed for participants with chronic illness, disability or who are neurodivergent. Its for people who cant participate in the traditional challenge.
TIPA operates as follows: The TIPA Category will begin on the Thursday 13 August 2026. Participants will receive their challenge prompts at 7pm (BST) on the 13th Aug. If you register after this date you will receive you PROMPTS after registering. Teams still have ONLY 48 hours to make a puppet film, but these hours can be spread out over this month-long period, so participants can use the allotted 48 hours to fit their own access needs.

Time Sheet
This is an optional timesheet you can use to record you film progress. See below for an example one. This time sheet is to help you record your tasks, timings and help you see how much time you have left to work on you film. Remember its good to have a rough idea of how long you want to spend on each film element, so you don’t run out of time! You will not be required to submit this, its just for those who will find it useful.
