About

The Bristol 48h Puppet Film Challenge was originally created in 2020 by the House of Funny Noises. Its aim was to give people a creative outlet during the COVID 19 lockdowns, and to provide a platform for people to create, explore and showcase puppet film when they weren’t able to leave the house.

The Film Challenge is now a Puppet Place production and is heading into its fifth year! We want to spread the joy of puppetry and stop-motion animation far and wide encouraging professionals and new-comers alike to take on the
